Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

Stubhub charge both the seller and the buyer. I forget the exact figures, but I think the two commissions add up to between 20 and 25% ?

So a ticket shown at 30 to 40 quid might mean that ( at 25% ) the seller gets £24 to £32.

It ain't ideal, but, on the whole, barring the big games, you can still pick a ticket up for less than it would be to buy a ticket for the same game direct from the club.

So £25 max? It shouldn't be profitable and the club could easily facilitate a system to accommodate that.

Aye, they could, but it wouldn't make commercial sense to force Stubhub to undercut the price of a single ticket, which, because of the season ticket discount per game, is what you're suggesting.

I'm not a massive fan of Stubhub, their markup is ridiculous, but plenty of people buy tickets off there at a discount to the price of a single ticket, and, if we keep playing like we did today, then there'll likely be hundreds more discounted tickets on there.
