As an example, Paypal offers some valuable added protection.

Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

I have two hospitality tickets available for the Burnley game on Boxing Day. They are our season tickets for the People's Lounge. We are unable to go due to Christmas family commitments ...
Tickets include TV lounge with pay bar, meal, programmes, ex-player host, speaker, tea/coffee at half time, padded seats, team sheets etc. Seats are in the Park End. Would make a fab Christmas present for someone.
The Club sell these for over £100 plus VAT
I am asking £100 each.

Was gonna get someone a ticket for the Norwich game tomorrow on stubhib..

We really have people trying to sell their £20 a match season ticket for £30 - £40 on that site.

Stubhub charge both the seller and the buyer. I forget the exact figures, but I think the two commissions add up to between 20 and 25% ?

So a ticket shown at 30 to 40 quid might mean that ( at 25% ) the seller gets £24 to £32.

It ain't ideal, but, on the whole, barring the big games, you can still pick a ticket up for less than it would be to buy a ticket for the same game direct from the club.
