really hope our youngsters make the step up because with the lack of funds we're gunna need some people coming through
 
I agree, but Everton will not invest and sign a player and take a chance. They want a proven and finnished article. I Think he is a top player and the thought of him being elsewhere next season doesn't do good to think about it

Where would you think Jose would fit into the 1st team?

I think he has the football brain to be a top, top player but I'm not sure what Davey has in mind for him.
 
I don't know why Davey hasn't played him upfront instead of persisting with Victor for the last few weeks but then again he can play midfield also. His performance/workrate on Friday was breathtaking and it's about time he was in the first team squad on a a regular basis because he was knocking in the first team door at 16 years of age wasn't he

Yes exactly, remember him well in the pre-season that year, he was excellent and looked to be 2-3 steps ahead of some of the senior pro's.

He has got bigger now, but is still small in stature with that in mind is he quick enough to play upfront. I know he is in thinking, but not sure if would then need pace around him.

I think he could be a bit like Paul Scholes as well, but central midfield as a teenager, as we know with Jack who has all the physical attributes, can be tough.
 
Doesn't Dier have some 3rd party ownership as well as his club in Portugal?
 
nice report ab , when does baxters contract run out ??? id like to see him push on next season is make or break for him i think .
 
would love baxter to get a chance to start today !!

AB ill miss ur reports, please if u can keep them comin next year, u have allowed us all to follow the reserves and youth players better than the OS esp for us who live further afield and it is greatly appreciated.
Hope dier stays cant see it tho.. reckon he will be a man u player in a few years
Moyes should throw him on the bench today give him a taster to make him wana stay lol
