No point sacking him now, but once we get a hiding in Europe then move him on.
We won't go down but can't carry on with his blinkered view our of play.

I was thinking about this today. How many Evertonians are there still who don't think we are in a relegation scrap? As horrible as it sounds we are right in the relegation scrap and have a very distinct possibility of being relegated.

Oh I don't doubt we are in a scrap, but I honestly believe we will not finish below either Villa, QPR, Leicester or Burnley.
Sorry for not making my point clearer.

And he got the subs right...and we created more than enough chances to win.

Oh yeah I agree. But Leicester were awful. I expect us to make enough chances to win.

I don't expect us to give away 2 goals for no reason. And that's because Martinez bought in a player who'd been playing terribly in place of one who hadn't and it, predictably, backfired.

It was a mistake. And one you hope he learns from,

It's fine, I just think that after all the years of Moyes we have gone a bit soft regarding relegation and think that it is something that only happens to other teams.

Thought he had a good game in Swissland...

No we are not. Look at the table. Look at who is below us. And look at the point tally of all the teams below us. Think we need to keep things in perspective. Hugely disappointing result. But it was a draw after a mid-week victory.

I would be.
Not going to happen mate.
The one surprise for me is the fans at the game seem to be getting fed up and showing it.

Hello mate, me either - sick of this season. Not saying i want him sacked, im made up with the progress we're showing in different areas. Second season is always a cliche like, but an obvious one at showing evidence.

Howard's made a couple of mistakes of late but overall he is definitely a better goalkeeper than Robles. People forget he's been out a while. It's overlooked because we lost at the death but I thought Howard's performance against Chelsea was first class!

Of late ?
He's made a catalogue of mistakes over the years, far too many to list but enough to determine that he is way, way, way past his best... And his best has never been good enough. Forget all the clean sheets he's kept, he's had good defences in front of him. He is nowhere near the level of a Gordon West or a Neville Southall, and he needs to be replaced urgently. Robles till the end of the season should be the starter and then if we've still doubts about him, go into the market for a top, top keeper.

I have had enough of him now mate.
No wonder we are so poor at home being scared of the bottom of the league side.

LOL...like many are. At his best he was a top 5 keeper...unfortunately that is behind him. That said, he's still in the top 5 all time Everton keepers.
