So I thought in it's honour , I would re-create one.

The Marmite tanker used to arrive to collect the yeast from Shepherd Neame at Faversham. I hope it still does. Needs a top-fermented ale - not a bottom fermented lager.

Vile Stuff, in fact I don't even like putting it on the kids toast. It's just another version of tetroseal

& that Aussie abomation is even worse, we were sent to do a job at the vegemite factory in Sydney & the lads couldn't wait to fill the ute with jars, after seeing the state of the place where it was made they vowed to never touch the stuff again, it was an absolute hovel.

I like it. Use it sparingly, mind. Too much and your mouth goes numb from the salt overload.
