Most people work five days a week. Therefore, most people get two days off per week....
but football isn't work

Two "expected defeats" there so that's a free pass for him. No doubt those defeats will be accepted in each of our next five games before the board realise action needs to be taken.Imo he has at the very latest the Derby game - there is no way he gets the Chelsea match at Goodison the atmosphere will be toxic.
I can see a 4/5 nil hammering in the derby being his final game.
Whereas the club should let Royle take charge for the derby - get the lads right up for it.
Looks made upAbsolute joke.
As much as I love Big Joe, there's about 2 players at the club who will even know who he is. (Rightly or wrongly)Imo he has at the very latest the Derby game - there is no way he gets the Chelsea match at Goodison the atmosphere will be toxic.

Yep, although there's a lot of evidence suggesting you should take a step back, try and relax for a day or two, then approach the problem with a fresh mind.Yeah but most people don't get paid £60k a week for those 5 days. If I ended the week, on Friday with a catastrophe, I would come in Saturday to rectify it.
The kind of fatalistic thinking you describe is very close to what I imagine goes on at the club and what annoys me beyond belief.
To use Brian Coughs adage they make the very simple look very complicated. If Brands has a list and they are all unavailable the Chairman of the board should pose that very question to him. Is your list realistic? Why will they be available in 6 months? Is there someone who currently is available who could do a better job than the current manager?
If the answer remains no, then the collective decision surely has to be that they back Marco Silva and get on a charm offensive.
The reality is, these discussions should have been taking place 2 months ago and a conclusion ought to have been reached. They've stuck with with Silva but none of them have either the integrity or the bravery to have put a supportive word in to help reduce some of the pressure on him and share the burden.
What we are left with is this mixture of reactive practice mixed with cowardice from the board. Of people just throwing problems in and no emphasis being placed upon finding a solution, however imperfect that may be.
It may be easier to recruit in 6 months, but not drastically so.
Take Moyes for example. If he's good enough for 6 months, he ought to be good enough for 3 years. If he's not good enough for 3 years, why would you have him for 6 months?
We are led to believe Kenwright wants him, if thats the case why isn't he good enough for 3 years?
Going through managers like confetti (if we go the interim route it would be 6 in 4 years) is not working for the club.
If he loses Sunday he’s gone, If he wins does he stay?
That’s the big question isn’t it if he gets anything from these 2 games and they have a new manager ready what are they going to do sack him anyway or say to the new fella nah it’s alright lad we don’t need you now.
By the same token you can’t compare United Chelsea and Arsenal now to the teams Moyes had to face: Ferguson’s United, Wenger’s invincibles, Chelsea under Mourinho and Ancelotti.
Probably. If he loses Sunday he’s gone, If he wins does he stay?
facial hair of doom, I've seen it before.
