I dont think he can save himself now what with the injury situation. I'll be surprised if he does anyway.
Never let it be forgotten though that if he is sacked he should be walking down the road with the man who wasted cash by the shed load and handed him bang average players to put on the pitch.
IMO Brands will drag his feet on sacking Silva because he knows he also exposes himself at that point.
They all need the fire putting up to the soles of their feet now, from the board to the players. Should be no hiding places.
I agree though. As soon as Silva goes, it's spotlight time for Brands. The first season it seemed ok, if not positive for the incomings. He'd have to be a hypnotist to have got rid of some of our junk so he got a bit of a pass for that aspect. This season though, no striker ready to step up straight away and no centre back? Dreadful.
