When you realise under the current bumbling board the last 5 years are as good as it gets the sooner you accept relegation wouldn't be a disaster to a club that is frankly going nowhere anyway.
The general consensus from alot of Everton fans these days is apathy and I dont blame them.
We are fed the BS from Sky that the PL is the be all and end all of football- ask Wigan fans would they rather trade that FA Cup of theirs for instant promotion to the land of milk and honey and I bet 90% say no as its the memories of winning stuff that fans cherish.
Outside the top 6 we are just making up the numbers and the odd year we finish 7th (light years away at present) the early rounds of the EL likely kill you the following season.
Its frankly dull and predictable for fans of this club and unless the owners actually start acting like a Big Club nothing will change.
