Liverpool went a good few seasons under Woy, Dogleash and Rodgers without CL football.

Spurs pre Poch were around us in the table and were lucky to get 4th nevermind challenge for the title.

Fans carry on like they have been title challenging sides since Moyes was here and thats completely not the case until Klopp and Poch turned up.

And FYI im very happy with finishing 7th and having a good cup run playing decent football and winning more than we lose.

Sadly we are miles off that at present.
MOYES :) You said MOYES. Can someone please make it happen. I want everything we had before plus Brands to have a wee word with him and say "Here, Davie, Sho, all de hard working dour shtuff in du training, you know. Shet pieshes. Sho, yesh, keep it .But you, know, let's shpend on a coupla a forwardsh and you know, just shmile a bit in the presh sometimes. You know it'sh not like Shaturdays need to be for de funderalsh, you know Davie?"

Puels just been sacked for getting one less point than us in the same amount of games, either Marco is living a very charmed life or we really are just stuck with him irrespective of the performances he puts in
This, because our weird and inept new owner publicly chased him and went after him as if he was the second coming of Sir Alex. Utterly embarrassing to go after a no-mark nobody like that. And this is what we get for it. I assume he'll be gone within a month after three further consecutive defeats.

They didn't want Hodgeson and he under performed. They got Dogleash in and won the league cup.

Rodgers was there for 3 seasons. Almost won the league. Klopp came in and got that same side to two cup finals.

Redknapp broke spurs into the champions League and a league cup final.

We never broke that glass ceiling even though it was us and Spurs battling it out for it when we had Moyes.

Since then we've done nothing bar 1 good season under Martinez to justify that we should be better than we are based on the last 4 years.

End of the day irresponsible spending and no plan under Koeman has put us in this position. And IMO time is needed to fix it.

Paying that compo solidifies the notion he is a snake with no integrity. I'd just about stomach him being a slither that would down tools, in a managers position!- if he was any good but he's a snake of no character who is incompetent. Because our owner that isn't really a football man but has a gut feeling.

Think its more to do with wanting us to lose so this Clown gets his marching orders, I dont think thats sad I think thats the sign of people hurting because of the state of our beloved football club and what it has been reduced to.

Silva is not the man, as Ive said in a previous post. Give me one positive that Silva is the man for the job in the long run? Havent been given any as yet, if thats not a sign its time to go then what is?

Do we want to gamble on next season being as bad as this? OR get a manager with a proven record so at least we can start next season with some optimism..

It’s borderline obsessional.

Weird.

we have regressed as a club so so bad this last couple years

we are currently on 33 points

and we sit 32 points from the top.

double our points tally basically.

its very hard finding an extra 10 points or so a season, so we wont be challenging the top for quite some considerable time.

its very depressing.

all the money in the world, yet further away than ever before.

At the end of the day - fans play a big role in the support the club give the manager.

We were under no threat of relegation realistically when Martinez and Alladyce were booted however fans made their voices heard that they were sick of the poor results/performances or in Sams case the awful football on show.

Under the current bloke we are suffering awful results and watching awful performances. If the fans sit their and accept it the board are happy enough to keep him in the hotseat.

Its ultimately the fans that will decide if Silva gets another season, those who slate fans for being outspoken regulary on him - if we dont be it on social media or at GP nothing changes as this narrative of "transition season" "cant keep sacking managers" is in full flow and will ensure he's kept on.

Worth a think for those renewing their season tickets and sky sports packages..
