On his aftermatch comments..
I read it that he was loathe to commit himself to anything immediately after the match.
He was purposely non-commital for a reason, I would guess he doesn't want to close down any avenues on the high of three points after three losses.
He was well advised to say it'll be a normal Monday tomorrow as anything less commits him to a course he may not follow.
If he were to force the issue by resigning he would need plenty of assurances about not being left high and dry, complicated finances including any action Watford might take or report plus any probable damage to his own reputation if it all fell through before any appointment even if virtually immediate.
If he is intent on staying and not forcing the issue then there is no point saying so straight after the game unless that is an immovable position and a course he will definitely pursue.
By not indicating either way, it does leave the option of resignation but also of not taking that risk if he decides it would be too harmful to do so.
It has only served to intensify the speculation and has kept the question very open.
We can't wait and should not do so, if he resigns we can act but it shouldn't stop us approaching Dyche or someone else.
