Is there even such a thing as a Sam fanboy? A lot of us grudgingly admit he did his job, but very few would want him for another season.

I can name a few, but will refrain from doing so, until they have broken cover and are fully out in the open.

At the moment they're being quite tentative and adopting guerrilla tactics.

We have good young players and good older players. We don't have any world class, galactico types. We have been, and will remain, a solid mid table premier league side. The top four is years away.

People just like moaning, its really boring to be honest.

If both Silva and Brands really like this player and Silva has first hand knowledge of working with him why not go for him?!

After a few years of spinning through managers Silva will get time with me, Im excited about the season and see how we do.
I get where you're coming from mate but, to me, it's important to have an environment where people feel comfortable criticising the manager

I don't know much about this Richarlison fellow, so I'm not going to have a go at the signing until I've had a chance to see him play for us for a decent amount of time, but I have no issue with people voicing their opinion if they think we've paid too much for him

I just don't think debate should be shut down and I don't think we always have to be "on message" as a fan base either

Just me though. I sometimes think that there's an atmosphere on here where you're not allowed to question the club or the manager, and I personally don't think that's healthy
In my mind Evertonians used to give players and managers time to impart their worth on the team. Since the money has arrived there is very much a culture of we want it now, now, NOW.

Its not the club I know and love where everyone feels comfortable ripping into players, managers, calling everyone crap and being completely negative. We have a young coach who will have his own ideas and how he wants to do things, I hope we give him time and let his squad develop with him.

I completely disagree that there is a culture on here where you cant criticise the club or manager, in fact I think its rife that everyone does.
