The change at half-time or just after was DCL off, with Bernard on to the left. Rich up top. Or, Davies for Gomes to at least keep the shape.

The latter was evidently planned, yet Silva panicked after their goal and we just ran out of ideas. He needs to quit that because going 4-4-2 has only worked once, v Palace, and even then it wasn't really a 4-4-2.

What's endemic at this club is the lack of pressure at all levels? We need results Brands, Silva and the players need to produce them. Yes it's a rebuild but recent games have been utterly unacceptable

Thought this too, a lot of games we have to chase we go 4-4-2 and just lose a grip of the game entirely.

Hell, we were well on top before Leicester scored and Davies was about to be brought on to replace a tiring Gomes. Silva should have stuck to his guns there I reckon and looked to have took off one Walcott/Sig/Richarlison if he still wanted to bring Bernard on as well.

For me we’ve once again got ourselves into a needless situation. We got a love on for a flavour of the month manager and stuck with it, seemingly without seriously considering anyone else. Marco Silva didn’t get another job after Watford (I think he was linked with Benfica at one point) you have to question if that was because we guarenteed him a job or because anyone considering it saw his questionable record and decided against him.

In my opinion we can’t sack him, I personally don’t think he’s good enough and we went for the wrong man but it’s way too early and I look at the clubs that aren’t owned by a Russian oligarch who chop and change managers regularly and I see most of them in the championship or heading there soon.

So what do we do? Do we totally back him and give Brands a ton of money to blow and hope that Silva gets them to play? Do we go with what we’ve got and hope for the same? Or do we play it cautious and sign say just a Striker and a winger? It’s a situation that with a bit more nous and method from our owner that we could’ve avoided.

I’ve recently decided to be more patient with the whole thing. Just because getting angry about them doesn’t do me any good.

The fix would mean we are challenging the top 6 (CL). I think it’s not reasonable if the time is given for him to get the 7th place trophy with huge fees being spent because Fat Sam was sacked for getting 8th.

Needs to be given time. 20 games isn't enough to change the mess he inherited here, and it's definately not enough to change that losing mentality of the last 23 years. That said, he needs to change things quickly as 3 of the last 4 outings have been unacceptable and our fan base seemingly lacks any sort of patience now.

Seems to be a general problem at the count ht what the players work on in training doesn’t translate to the pitch. Martinez complained about it, Allardyce too, Silva seems to be frustrated as well. Even simple things like throw ins and set pieces that they must do hundreds of have just completely degenerated to complete failure. It’s like once the players get on the pitch they are just incapable of even doing the basics.

Something lacking with Silva at the moment. What's needed in this team is some steel. And at this moment in time I don't see that coming from Silva. That worries me more than anything. I hope that there's nothing terrible happening behind the scenes, because today really concerned me.

Maybe he does have too many Lilly livered soft centred players but he's a premier league manager. Sort it out, hustle, cajole and berate, praise, support or rollicking. Manage them.

I have seen something in most games this season that suggested improvements were being made and the team was removing weaknesses. But since the derby- which I thought was a decent display bar an individual clanger- there's been a real kind of malaise in our play.

I always wanted to give him a season with him getting a good footballing side together. Maybe that's still on track, but if we keep producing this bilge, he will have to go.

C'mon Marco lad, get 'em up for the next game. They wanted to sack Kendall, they wanted to sack Ferguson and they turned it around. Get back into the fight.

Solskjaer said when he took over Utd that no team should outwork and outfight them. It's the same for us. We were terrible today. Lethargic and barely competed. The crowd barely giving the team a cheer onto the pitch for kick off probably didn't help either. The atmosphere was horrible.

But he's not exactly inherited a perfect team to build on. Everyone he signed has been a success, need to give him more time and support, joke to be calling for his head this early
