Gotta up your body count Brands and nuke more of these dossers out the squad to enable improvement! Clocks ticking.

The desperate shoring up of Contract Marcel by some here. Laughable.

We all know why we're reinvigorated this season: Ancelotti took command of the transfer window and brought his own seasoned top quality professionals in.

If the cash had been left in Contract Marcel's hands we'd have been looking at another string of journeymen losers bought for £30M a pop.

We did try to sign Doucoure last season and only got him now because Watford were relegated.

Of course having a manager like Ancelotti over a manager like Marco Silva makes Brands’ job easier. It’s not rocket science is it?

Why can’t we just congratulate both of them on getting those 3 deals over the line. Our fans always need someone to attribute success/blame to for every decision

Would love to know this list of journeymen losers.

You’re also going to have to define in your very niche way what the term ‘journeymen’ means to you.

because afaict the only player we’ve bought that could be coined ‘journeyman’ is Delph, and most people thought he was a decent buy at the time.

just turns out he’s a peanut-headed overinflated ego of a human.

So you believe they’re all competent at their trade. I thought you would think some of those aren’t good enough.

The definition of journeyman: A journeyman is a worker, skilled in a given building trade or craft, who has successfully completed an official apprenticeship qualification. Journeymen are considered competent and authorized to work in that field as a fully qualified employee. ... The term "journeyman" was originally used in the medieval trade guilds.
