Why would you have a CEO engaged with employee contracts below management/Director level?

Youve gone from having former club secretary Michael Dunford covering commercial + transfer deals to now having the CEO run everything.

It appears as though youre advocating the modern day disaster version of this which is Edward Woodward at United.

Woodwards appointment coincides with below par results. Theyre actively looking for a DOF.
