As others have said if we want a DOF then go out and get someone who actually is one and not shoehorn this guy or Walsh into the role. Les Reed has done very well at Southampton but I'm not sure how involved he is with recommending players

To be fair the majority of blues were delighted that Walsh got the job on the back of his perceived influence in Leicester winning the league, which is a logical conclusion.

Missed that at the time mate, have to say i completely agree with you. Just for pushing for the appointment of Allardyce the guy needs to go in my opinion. He is not up to the job and is definitely not a suitable DOF for Everton.

Could it be the guy and the team are Russian and Moshiri has ties in Russia from his time working with Usmanov? He also probably speaks some Russian.

You could argue that there’s no chemistry between the squad, making it harder for new players to settle.

But then it’s his job to find players with the right character, personality & mentality to fit the squad
