Me neither mate, but i do know that walsh is a massive statistics analyser, uses it as the core of his scouting/recruitment policies.

So a bloke whose stats actually show a prolific striker far beyond his reputation and who has been sitting behind someone like Higuain at a team - hence lack of minutes, would tick a lot of boxes i guess. Also something that he went to a team that had only been promoted a couple of years earleir in Sampdoria rather than be happy sitting at a 'bigger' team in Napoli

Gueye was recruiited similarly - hugely based on stats analysis - and must say it seems to be paying off (think it was a hallmark of his recruitment of Mahrez and Kante as well interestingly)
