Manny watch - if you hate him, stay out

Now ladies and gents, before you all jump at my throat, I would like to encourage all opinions to try and keep it relative to world football.

Having been linked with Joaquin, Albelda and obviously Manny...I thought it would be interesting to bring it up. Players like David Villa too, its really good to watch. Highlights of Valencia's game away to Valladolid.

They are a quality side who I think have had just one bad year. They defend from the front with Villa being very busy.

Joaquin hasnt put a foot wrong, he's strong, a good ball winner, and a brigh spark in the midfield. Manny likewise, he's playing deep in midfield, like a little jack russell chomping at the bit snapping at everyione's heels. He's shooting from distance and spreading the play well, scored a cracking goal on his left foot first time from a lovely little lay off by Villa.

One on one, counter attack ad a little sloppy defending, and manny like lightening has run all of 60 yards to catch the valladolid forward, not only catch him, but win the ball back.

I'm not surprised none of the linked players arrived at us because they are bloody quality and of much higher level than what we're at.

I'm going to be keeping tabs on Valencia throughout the season.

I'm on record as being disappointed that we didn't get Manny back at Everton this season, either on loan or on a permanent but that's how it goes sometimes.

Glad to see that he's enjoying his football in Spain.

If you look at the form the players had last season, they where utter crap and would not have fitted in to our squad. Same goes on with our team right now, we have the quality but not the ability to perform. None would take a place in their team right now.

I claim the trainer in both cases.

well, for sure manny and joaquin would have improved the season we have had so far.

Hit the nail on the head. The pace of Spanish football is more suited to Fernandes' game.

Thats probably why I enjoyed last nights game, players had time on the ball and as a result was much more entertaining than rory delaps long throws

I'm still missing him. Just seems I can't get over the fact that we missed out on him. Was my number one preferred signing during the summer. Said at that time, I rated him over Moutinho and I still do.

This thread has got nothing to do and hopefully wont have anything to do with everton fans crying for him to come back.

he's an excellent talent and will one day be one of if not the best in the game, and I want to watch him progress, because he is very entertaining.
