I wonder if Gordon Ramsey can help, tell ron where he's going wrong. Apparently because he was a world class player he must be a world class coach, he just needs a gentle F-word. I'm chatting rubbish, nerves are kicking in.

My only thought with that ridiculous lineup of essentially centre halfs and central midfielders is that he's trying to get to a certain point in the game still at 0-0. This worked up to a point against Citeh, but we had DCL up top then as an out ball, to relieve pressure. So without an out ball to relieve pressure, and our defence being just about average, and their attack being excellent, I've no idea how these tactics can possibly work even in theory.

If Davies ends up out wide here, it's a classic Moyes stitch-up; throwing a youth team player in, out of position in a game that he knows he'll lose, and then binning him for six months when he gets hooked after an hour.

5-3-2 and Cuco Martina playing, can I change my 5-0 vote to 8+, actually dreading this. Not said that in a very very long time.
get a grip.webp
