You dont need to be a Gk to know that as soon as you go to ground the Striker is gonna skip past you.

And if you don't he'll just put it in while you stand there like a mug.

Trust me, as a forward I much prefer keepers who stand there waiting to dive than those who force you into making a decision. And Howard's gone to ground because he thinks Van Persie's about to shoot anyway. It's like a penalty in that situation, got to just hope for the best.

Howard's got no chance if he just stands there, but if he goes to ground there's a chance he'll nip the ball away, a chance that Van Persie will play the ball straight at his outstretched body, a chance that Van Persie will overhit his touch and be forced to stretch while hitting his shot. Plus in this situation I think he's just literally fell over because he's on his toes about to spread himself.

Basically he had no chance and anyone blaming Howard in any capacity needs to step away from the crack pipe.

there's a difference between "having a few bad plays" (i'm guessing you're american?) and having a bad day. And it's just ridiculous to say it that early about the best striker in the Premier League. Wait til 90mins are up before you say stuff like that... it's just asking for trouble.

Yeah, cause I jinxed him from my couch. And I have no idea what me being American has anything to do with this.

He's an arrogant tool. I celebrate when anything goes bad for him. You want to support RVP, go elsewhere.

I really want us to start playing Fellaini in midfield. Our defense isn't getting enough protection with Ossie in the middle.

We're sh1te lets be honest, We will never have a decent striker...
