How desperate people must be to even attempt this. Its one thing to try and 'cling' on for an eleven hour flight but also temperatures so low you could freeze.

I couldn't imagine your life being so heinous that you would do anything to try and escape. No matter how much we moan about Britain and the state of the country, we are compared to most very lucky indeed.
