Don’t think Newcastle are in a position to sell anyone when they are having to postpone games because they haven’t got 13 first team players available.
Longstaff got given a chance against United because they had no alternatives and now he has had a good game they think he could at least help them with their relegation battle. If Newcastle stay up that is worth hundreds of millions for them. Losing longstaff for free in the summer instead of making a quick mil or two is not really that signficant for them. Can understand why they are reluctant to sell.
