Ah, missed that they signed Paredes. Well I guess we’re stuck with him and a lethargic three man midfield. No real point in watching any further. Nothing will change. Selling him or Iceland is our only hope.

That would still leave the worst midfielder there (on current showings at least).

It's alright though, he's good looking and boss at hugs!

I wonder what the stats are for us conceding from set pieces on that part if pitch that Digne gives away free kicks. Feels about 100% right now!

I also have zero confidence that we can deal with even the most misdirected, weak, flimsy ball into our 6 yard box - largely because we don't seem to put defenders anywhere near it!

And some points I noticed from game:
1. Our defence can't jump
2. We don't defend in 6 yard box
3. We like to constantly fouls needlessly in stupid places
4. Pickford has no prescence
5. Pickford likes to rush a ball well out into touch (Did someone mention rugby earlier?)
6. Our 6ft+ defenders create illusion of being tiny against any opposition
7. Zero anticipation from anyone of where a ball might drop in box

Robertson for me but I'm deffo a big fan of Digne. Horrible game for him today but then you often see quality players struggle with their first taste of lower league opposition in the cup. It becomes less about ability and more about fight and physicality. Just a bit [Poor language removed] like that we don't seem to have much fight in the side.

He has been superb for us this season but tonight he had a shocker, zero game management to give away the same freekicks
