If we start taking a beating & the whole of anfield are singing that merry christmas everton remix, i just might cry.

With amber warnings of heavy snow in the north west from 6am onwards Sunday here - they must be fairly confident it will happen although they've been wrong plenty of times before

With health and safety usually taken to extremes these days, the Manchester derby is the one probably more in doubt (but just possibly our one too)

Although I noticed some light snow while at work (in Chester) today - Manchester has its own microclimate and is a powerful magnet for bad weather, usually it rains at best.

We haven't had snow for a few years for much of Merseyside despite weather warnings every year, East Lancs nearer the Pennines, Manchester and the moors surrounding it normally get it all

I wouldn't mind it being off as Sam has only been here two minutes not two months. However Anfield hasn't had a snowed off fixture since 2010 so it must be highly unlikely despite these amber warnings. I read they're really meant to be more specific to the greater Manchester area but cover a wider area just for the weather forcasters to cover themselves and claim they're right even if off target slightly.

I’ve been watching Everton for years now. Here is what will happen, in no particular order based upon experience.

1. We may score.
2. Someone will get booked very early and it will be a key player
3. They will overwhelm us
4. We will defend ‘gallantly’
5. We will miss “golden” opportunities
6. We will lose
7. Heavily
8. We will blame the ref

9. That key player will get sent off and we’ll turn on them for a ‘Brain Explosion’

I'm guessing it will be sky sports v the health and safety bregade tomorrow both games must be in doubt. I'm assuming sky will win though.

The colder the better all our players to wear short sleeves, no sports bras, vests, mufflers, tights or gloves permitted and man up against them in the trenches ... No standing off them I'm no fan of him but at least Allardyce may instil some backbone for this.
