To be fair I'd rather win Carling Cup and get to FA Cup final then finish a meaningless single place above the RS with no europe reward, & now Rodgers is leading them to a league title winning days again our best chance of being dominant in merseyside has passed us by.

Pardon? Nothing to troll about after Benitez left RS went through transitional phase last 4 years yet still managed to win trophy and get more finals then us and we failed to crack europe without them in it. We should of took the chance with 2 hands as it only came because of there terrible previous owners doing a disservice to merseyside.

Seriously, the only time I'm arsed about finishing above them, is when they finish Second.
"Tide is turning" "Best team on Merseyside" To who? The best team in the world are Everton, nevermind Merseyside. The Everton Team, the Everton People, the Everton Ideals and the Everton feeling is absolutely unbeatable by anything. There is no newspaper article in the world going to make me feel any different.
So, who are these articles aimed at?
Are they aimed at the general football masses? If so, I would challenge you to find a majority percentage that prefer them to us.
Are they aimed at Liverpool Supporters? If so, do we really care that they need to wallow in their own journalistic jizz at the fact that they have spent four times as much as us in the last 12 months, and are only just just "Turning the tide"?
Or are they just wrote cause they have absolutely nothing else to talk about on an International break, and have to be seen to be writing something, or face the sack?

No. They haven't. They have had a slightly better start to the season. They have lost more league games than we have. Will they do a piece about us after we win Saturday and start to edge away from them... "Everton reclaim their crown as best team in city"?. I bet they fookin don't.
