If I were in charge:

Howard
Neville/Hibbo Heitinga Distin Baines
Fellaini Rodwell
Drenthe Osman Pienaar
Jelavic

I had the good fortune of being handed a job to Bootle on the day of the Man City game (as mentioned on these hallowed threads) but now I don't have to rely on other courier companies due to my eBay collection and delivery service, I can arrange my up north work to fit in. I have to go to Harrogate, Sunderland, South Shields and Annan but I will be booking into The Banjo B&B in Bootle again on Tuesday. I might not be so lucky (when I got a lift and a free ticket to the game) but I will do my best to get a ticket or, if not, watch it in a Blues' pub. Any good ones I could look out for in Bootle?

I know i shouldnt but i went on RAWK to read their thread, where i read this pearl of wisdom:

"Carroll is exactly who Everton want to see us play. They have big, slow centre backs who like to not move and head the ball.

That's wrong in almost every single way.

Distin is slow in which parallel universe?

Distin is big and relatively good in the air. So that's almost true. Also I'd like to see Carroll play (because he's badly Adam).

Aye, the first bit s definitely true tbh.

Pretty much all Premiership CBs aren't small, so that's a given... except we have one of the few (only?) CBs under 6 foot!
Even Jagielka is short for a CB.

'We're only 4 points ahead of West Brom and 2 points ahead of the bitters after spending over £100m. Consider their spending for a minute.'

They often refer to us as the bitters, but it seems some of them have realised that Kenny is ****e.

Great preview! My favourite one so far :D

I'm really excited for this match but I hate that it is this week. I have to admit I would rather us beat Sunderland on Saturday than beat the reds on Tuesday.

Also Strac to start, I wanna see him rip into red's defence b)
