I've just bought and installed something that makes posts appear live, without needing to refresh.

I'm a tad concerned with balancing it vs server resource, so for now, I'm testing this in the Everton Forum and World Football - and it should only work for people with a forum sub.

I figure it could be useful in match threads - but not sure if it'll just confuse with posts appearing without any refresh, or more hassle than it's worth. Would appreciate feedback.

Any threads that are live will be indicated with a live label like the below.

There's none at the moment, but the next match will be 'live' for forum subscribers as continue to test;

My son sorted it he put an ATB, so adverts would appear on the GOT & it was causing too many problems with the speed - he too it off got the adverts & it's back to speed

Things that can mean well, like block ads etc can sometimes block other things that make a site operate.

You should know, that no one misses anything on here . Even if something is on for a few seconds
