Woolly Blue

Player Valuation: £80m
For the day when his thread in the Everton forum gets closed.

Not that I'm in any rush to see it closed, but he's an ex-Everton player now, with, unless my memory's playing tricks on me, no competitive senior appearances, so it'll happen eventually.

How'd he do against City? Saw he got taken off at half time
I read an account of the game and in player scores he was given a 6 (highest score for a Bristol player was 7). Half the team were given lower scores including the lad Bryan who we're supposedly looking at.

The City team were all 7s & 8s with De Bruyne getting a 9.

I didn't see the game having preferred to watch our own U23s that night, so can't comment first hand on his performance. But I haven't seen any report that is either critical or complimentary of him. Not making excuses for the lad but he did apparently receive a bad knock to the face early doors. Plus the home team were 2 down on aggregate so putting a striker on in his place was clearly a tactical decision.

In any event you have to factor in who they were playing. Not many players, either in the premier league or across Europe this season, have been able to cope with City's movement and overall play, so it can't come as any surprise that Liam struggled in this one. I'm more impressed with the fact that the Bristol manager rested him at the weekend so that he would be fresh for this game.

Will be keeping an eye on Bristol now and hopefully they will manage to x=come up through the play offs.
