We didn't have the squad depth to compete on multiple trophy fronts this season, maybe not even one. Big improvements needed in the summer if we're to win a trophy next season, but I think the ownership are more focused on building a side that gets European football than a trophy. Ironic as winning a trophy gets you Europe!!

Palace don't have a lot of squad depth and are in a European final next week. It may have cost them in the league a bit but they're only a few points behind us. Not like they're getting relegated and will be in Europa if they win.

Ultimately not had a serious try at winning a trophy since bottling the 2016 FA Cup semi final. Closest was the Fulham quarter final with the daft penalty in the shootout. Pep going should help in the domestic cups as he never let up in any competition.
