Leighton Baines

He's not happy though is he, you can see it. How many successful dribbles has he made this season where he does his little fake body open up and then drives inside? I'll tell you - one. And it didn't even lead to a goal.

I think hes upset that Mirallas took a free kick the other day mate.

Did you notice last game, Superkev jogged over to take a corner and Leighton just gave him a stare and jogged over and took the corner? Tension Browns.

It's strange isn't it. Something's not right certainly. He might be missing Steven to be fair, especially at the freekick consultation parties. They always like to have a nice little chat at them, Stevie usually finds something to smile about. Maybe he's just sad like Ronaldo was.

that whittaker got a GOAL and ASSIST on the opening day of the season, way more potent than baines. if we can get £10m for leighton in Jan and replace him with whittaker (think about £4m should get him), we'd have £6m left over to strengthen a more important area of the pitch

Baines hasn't reached the level of last year as yet. However all this transfer speculation has distracted him I fear. You only have to look at felliani's early season performances, solid but nothing more. Now the transfer window has shut, I think you will see him get back to the standards he has set last season. However he is also adapting to new methods from the manager. Lets face it, Coleman hasn't reached the standards of last season either. I think when both become more accustomed to the style of play Martinez wants, then we will see both back to their best.

All of our defenders are in the top ten defenders statisically in the League so far. Colemans number one.

Stubbs has supposedly said he asked to leave in the summer!
Why is Stubbs bringing this up now? Still no contract offer too.
Makes you wonder.
Surprised Stubbs didn't sneak him out of the training ground the scumbag

It's a joke, he said he obviously wanted to leave, whys that Alan because you followed the money trail to the mighty Sunderland instead of playing for your boyhood club.
Plus to say it a week after Martinez said Baines didn't want to leave makes RM look a bit daft.

Did he say this on the radio this morning?

what all this about Stubbs? if someone doesn't mind explaining. What I've made out is, he asked to leave last summer and he couldn't. So why didn't he hand a transfer request in
