Surprised he’s retired rather than taking a victory lap somewhere. Sad that he’s done, but what player he was. His free kick double a couple years back was one of those memories that sticks with you. Wand of a left foot.

Been searching for some poignant words; might find some, might not. Anyhow...I was just a little more invested in Bainsey than many I'm sure, for reasons a few might know/remember, so I've been in a quasi-limbo since the announcement. It's been coming but sometimes you're never ready.

Funny to see 'LB3' doing the 'rounds as, as far as I'm aware, I'm the arse that coined it...but, what'evs, it's good to see.

He didn’t deserve having to endure the last 5 years. Would have been nice if he’d have gone with Cahill Arteta Pienaar etc, with his old team mates and peers, rather than having to share a pitch with utter disgraces like Sigurdsson and Pickford.
