So we got off to a winning start then. The pre game pessimism didn't materialise as a clinical second half performance saw us win 3 1 against a poor Southampton side.
Rafael got an OK reception. Half time saw a few boos but I think it was frustration with pre season more then the previous 45 minutes.
Covid isolation ( maybe) ruled out 5 players so it will be interesting to see who's available Saturday. Mina and big Ben would be a help though.
Leeds away where they will play at a full Elland Road for the first time since they came back up won't be easy. They were snotted at Old Trafford so will need to respond to that. Hopefully we leave bielsa sitting on his bucket!
We looked like a side who moved the ball forward quicker and getting the ball in the box early and often will be manna from heaven for dcl. Richy , gray , doucoure all looked sharp so we have plenty threats.
