I give some credit to Leeds, who deserved it. We were average at best. We could pick holes in what Moyes did wrong, but I think that in this instance the players deserve the vast majority of the blame. Naismith and Gueye were very poor, yet both looked good last time out so I understand why they were picked. Mirallas has quality but drifts in and out of the game - he is new to English football. I'm not going to lay into Junior, he's a young lad making his debut in a tough game and he was not significantly worse than his more experienced team mates. Coleman is a long way from being a right back good enough to play against decent opposition. If Pienaar picks up a serious injury this season we're fooked. We play crap without him. Felli failed to step up to the plate. Only Oviedo and Vic come away with much credit from that. We tried to use the squad players. If you never try these players you'll never know if they're good enough and the first teamers never get rested or pressurised for their places. We tried it, it backfired.

Very sensible post. Lesson for Moyes about his squad, which obviously still needs more depth quality, however maybe using the squad more sparingly will work.

On another day, we'd probably have won. We move on, let's smash Southampton.

Mind boggling how he put junior, all 4 foot nothin' of him, in cm when you know Leeds would just kick the **** out of everyone and be 'combative' (another word for dirty).

Everton fans kicking off with Leeds fans and shouting #JusticeForThe96 at the police!!

Embarassing that. Have a word.

Game? Yeah, you had 6 changes but we had a pile of injuries too (no McCormack!) ... yeah, we kicked you off the park (a bit) but on the other hand Neville got away with a far worse foul for a yellow than Brown's identical one ("Michael Brown, he gets booked") etc. You were really poor first half, better second half but I reckon we shaded it. And the penalty with Pearce on Anichebe? Um, 50-50 for me but Anichebe didn't help himself having chucked himself on the floor the entire game... anyway, regardless, nice to meet a lot of you tonight (well good drink up in the Flyer) and we'll see you next year .... (yeah right)

If you're going to come on here as an opposition fan after your team have knocked us out of the cup, could you at least please be a tit so we can vent our collective frustration on you.

You wanted it more, better team won. Simple as.

And welcome.

Good luck lad, I've adopted Leeds as my lower divison team.

Team selection was just too much of a change. Junior's confidence will be shot now and I don't expect to see him near the first team again this season. Oviedo looked shakey until Pienaar came on and gave some class to the left side. Fellaini looked lost until he was pushed forward, he seemed like he was trying to cover too much area and was doing a poor job of it.
Overall, a big cock up by Moyes and you can see why a "Big" club won't come in for him.

That's a bingo!!! Six changes? Shouldn't have expected anything else, really. There's this thing, Mr. Moyes, called team chemistry and once you have it, you don't bloody well screw it up by making major alterations to the formula. Tweak it here and there, maybe.
I'll give the manage rcredit when he gets things right anf for most of this season he has. Tonight, though, a complete balls-up in team selection. He never seems to learn when it comes to cups, does he?

Errrrmmm .... nah, can't be arsed, Had a well good piss-up with your lot in the Flyer (and Whitey's earlier). One of those things really ... I remember having off-nights like that when we were a Premiership club ourselves (hello Sheffield United! hello Watford! hello Scunthorpe! etc.)
