Mucha - 6 Not at fault r

Coleman - 5 Poor defensively, ineffective offensively
Distin - 5 Looked ragged
Heitinga - 5 Sloopy, looked like he used to when he first joined us
Oviedo - 6 Wasn´t brilliant but the lad will be a good player for us.

Gueye - 4 As per usuall, did nothing but give the ball away
Fellaini - 6 Victim of very high standards and out of position for first goal
Junior - x Simply not grown enough for mens football in this country
Naismith - 4 Looks a very poor player. What a shame.

Mirallas - 6 At least he tried
Anichebe - 6 Best of a bad bunch

Anichebe -
Fellaini doesn't deserve 2 for that performance never mind 6. Oviedo and Anichebe only players deserving of anything close to 6

whats it Howard, jags, baines, ossie, the only players missing from saturdays fine win again swansea
sorry but the blame lays at the players for this defeat they didn't want to know about it plain and simple

So you think a Premier League team shouldn't beat a mid table Championship team without needing a desperate 88th minute penalty??

Interesting
you werent paying attention old son. i`m commenting on some poor refereeing. you just popped in to bitch a little bit at me so pop back out again theres a good chap

Right, disappointing, and the players will know it and know that they owe us a good win on saturday.

It´ll be a long, long time until we see anything of "Junior" close to the first team again, and we all know why.
One dares to say that maybe Ross Barkley would have done a bit better tonight.

Sad to see the standard of Naismith, I had expected a classier player for sure.

On the plus side, Oviedo looks a gem to me. He´ll be a very good player for us.

Off to bed, until next time lads

David Moyes felt a poor start cost his side after their Capital One Cup hopes came to an end at Leeds.

The Blues conceded a goal inside four minutes at Elland Road and fell further behind before Sylvain Distin grabbed a late consolation.

"We started badly and gave Leeds too much encouragement and because of that we ended up paying the cost," said Moyes. "We were disappointed because we were trying to get through in the cup.

"It was always going to be tough. We're not massively endowed in terms of the players who are available to us but I thought tonight we could still put out a side that could win the game. The first half was as poor as we've played this season."

Moyes made six changes to the side which eased to victory at Swansea on Saturday with midfielderFrancisco Junior handed his first-team debut and summer arrival Bryan Oviedo drafted in for a maiden start.

Jan Mucha, Steven Naismith, Sylvain Distin and Magaye Gueye were also included in the starting XI and Moyes added: "We gave some players an opportunity. We have a squad of players and we have to use them. You have to have a squad of players and when you get chances you have to give them games. We did that and one or two didn't do as well as they can do."

It all added up to a very disappointing evening for Everton's 5000 travelling fans and the manager said: "If you looked at the team we put out tonight you would be disappointed if it didn't come and get a result. But in the first half we just didn't put in a good enough performance.

"I'm really sorry we weren't able to get the fans a result."
