Look at bringing off Fellaini and Mirallas at the hour so they are fresh for Southampton, then keep Jagielka and Heitinga fresh for the weekend too, Baines can have the game off giving Oviedo much-needed gametime. Neville will hopefully tire himself out making him unavailable until Spring.

Nice review, appreciate the effort you made.

I'd love us to win the League Cup, Evertonians getting a chance to see us lift a trophy at Wembley and the fact for a team with our history we've never won it!

Warnock's lower league teams usually have good cup runs and will be determined to put one over us, but really we should be winning games against lower league opposition, away or not.

Pretty sure we will play a strong side, would stick with Anichebe up top, a good goal scoring run would do him the world of good, gives future opposition something different to think about as well.

Think the back four should be what he intends to use against Southampton so they can get a game played as a unit. Midfield should use newer players and kids and probably Neville as a voice (as that's all he can be) then Cheebs up front with either Mirallas or Naismith sitting off him and the other on the right wing.
