No challenges going in, the likes of Fellaini didn't look bothered. Lack of decent possession, shaky at the back once more and nothing sticking upfront for the majority of the match.

Insipid all round, but at least we've maintained our League Cup consistency...

Hopefully Moyes puts a rocket up their arse for this weekend.

Even though I figured we wouldn't field the most gelled up eleven I was still pretty confident in the ability of every player we had on the pitch (Bar Mucha, sorry Jan) but was proven wrong by an energetic hard working side. I'm still confident that these all are decent backup players but we seemingly can't field a half a squad of them the same time and expect a result.

Wasn't the last game we lost against uhh WBA? in similiar wet conditions?
Clutching straws here, I know.

All heil the Tubey.

Gives me no pleasure to be right, none at all.

I've just been raging - had to leave my parents house there before I broke a microwave or something. I hate being a supporter of such dross at times I really do. Useless pile of p&&^ks. Surrender monkeys to a man.

Wrong starting line up IMO, Should have started our strongest team like we did in the last round then make changes if we went ahead by 2-3 goals

Cold rainy Tuesday night away to Leeds needed everyone on there toes and fighting for every 50/50 from the off, I honesly cant remember us winning anything in the first half and the seconed wasnt much better

Just shows how important Jags,Baines,Howard and Pienaar are to the team

Ref was terrible, it was a clear pen at the end and he was looking right at it, but that doesn't change the fact that it was a awful performance from us that didn't deserve a win. We got bullied off the ball all night long and never had an answer for it. The players just couldn't handle the pressure on the ball, they either lost it because they held it too long or lost it because of their wayward passes. The players need to take a look at themselves with that showing, it's not like we didn't have the support there for them.

Not much can be done now other than focus on our next game and actually turn up, the last thing we need is tonight following us and knocking the confidence out of our league performances.

Fair play to Leeds, amongst all this, they really wanted it and had a load of regulars missing tonight. Done all the right things and troubled some established supposed top players.

Is right.
Doesn't help that two of my cousins are from Leeds. Mobile reception is sh^te tonight, must be the weather.

just shows that we were getting carried away with the squad we had, without Baines and Pienaar plus Gibson
we are poor enough, add in junior,Naismith,Gueye,Coleman, lets pray we don't get players out hurt or we will be lucky
to finish 10th this year if some of them players tonight are to play for us.

i don't mind losing to a side that are good or had a strong side out, but that was leeds second team what makes in worse
moyes should have played a few youth players at least they would have got a first team game

yeah fair play-better team on the night no use calling them a bunch of dirty b*strds and all that. were gonna have to learn to live with it and do it ourselves when the need arises !!

I was pleased with that starting XI before kick off but in hindsight junior may have been a better option from the bench. Problem seemed to be the midfield for the entirety of the game which looked very disjointed and out of shape. A complete opposite to what our first team midfield is, I know people have reservations about osman and nev there but at least they know their roles and positions.

I'd put the majority of it down to just an all round bad performance. But a few questions to ask would be can fellaini really be effective as central midfielder? Has coleman got the ability to be our future right back? Does it look like we're going to struggle against more compact, hardworking sides such as WBA and Leeds?
