terrible spineless performance, on any other day i would say we deserved to lose that, but in all honesty, leeds didn't exactly do much/ anything, only 1 save from mucha if i remember correctly. lee mason looks terrible out of depth every game i see him ref though. missing that pen was a shocker but he just doesn't let any games flow, he blows up and has to be the centre of attention, i.e. don't take a free-kick half a yard too far forward. ah well, not too downbeat, we hit back brilliantly after the newcastle, lets hope we can do the same on saturday and get 3 more points. the league cup is only a hinderance anyway that no team actually cares about, the league and FA Cup is where it is at for us, glad we got this out of the way if i'm honest. only bright spark was oviedo going forward i thought. anichebe looked dangerous whenever he got the ball, but i wont be giving too many of that team over 5/10, ah well lets hit back again

Even though I figured we wouldn't field the most gelled up eleven I was still pretty confident in the ability of every player we had on the pitch (Bar Mucha, sorry Jan) but was proven wrong by an energetic hard working side. I'm still confident that these all are decent backup players but we seemingly can't field a half a squad of them the same time and expect a result.

Wasn't the last game we lost against uhh WBA? in similiar wet conditions?
Clutching straws here, I know.

Naithsmith was the villian gave the first goal away & missed a complete sitter to make it 1-1 - TBF we were poor in midfield only Victor looked like he could create anything & indeed made the goal for Distan - TBH its a blessing we are out of a cup where all the big teams play kids & devalues it anyway 8 changes & it told tonight -Leeds were the better team end off!
