Does anyone know how well these are selling. Would be good if we could take up the extra allocation and have a decent vocal support, especially considering it's a 3rd round League Cup game.

Zero% chance that we will sell out the full allocation for this. Absolutely none. Were not as big as some blues think we are

We sell out the majority of our away allocations circa 3000. Granted, it often takes up until a few days before the match, but we usually do.

The only thing that might affect the speed of ticket sales is it being live on tv. Being in midweek, the temptation will be there for some to just watch on tv, and save the hassle of both paying £28 and getting an early dart from work.

Exactly my point. There are still a good few clubs, i.e, man u, the filth, ncastle, possible arsenal, city, who wold sell out even with the points u have made. My opinion for this is we wont, hope im wrong tho as im there and nothing better than being in a full away end

we'll fill it mate, no worries we'll fill it

Set my alarm bright and early to get up for these tickets. Me and my dad are Evertonians, and my mum and brother are gonna be in the Leeds end.

Can sell out all it wants after I get those two tickets!

How many would City or Newcastle take to Chelsea for a fourth round FA Cup game that was on TV and was a 12:30 kick off? Not 6,000.

I think you're overestimating the travelling support of a few of those clubs. Newcastle, for instance, took a pitiful amount of fans to Greece for their recent Europa game (as in less than 300).

As a regular EFC away match goer, we take several thousand EVERYWHERE we go. We had over 2000 fans at Morecambe in the middle of July for a nothing pre-season game (total attendance was 4000).

Then there's the example of us taking 8000+ to Sunderland for the FA Cup game that was midweek, live on tv, even if there were free coaches, it was still an incredible turnout.

I think we'll sell out the initial Leeds allocation and trigger the additional South Stand allocation.

phoned up box office about 4pm today to ask whether there was any point getting up early for general sale, the guy said they should be some for general..

so surely must have sold a few already?

say what you like about away supports ours is one of the very best in england!

Oh ye of little faith.....

Extra 2,000 tickets applied for, with initial allocation sold out.

Tickets for next week¹s Capital One Cup third round clash with Leeds United have now sold out.

The Blues had received an allocation of 3000 tickets following the announcement of the fixture last month.

Club officials are now in discussions with their Elland Road counterparts regarding a further allocation of 2000 tickets, though this is dependent on agreement between Leeds and West Yorkshire police.

Supporters are advised to keep checking evertonfc.com for further details, which will be announced as soon as they are available.

So, potentially 5000 EFC fans at a midweek, early round cup game that's live on tv.

Not bad for a club that has support that's 'not as big as we think we are'.(y)

Man City struggle to sell out at Goodison each year even when they are going for the title so it's daft to suggest the have better away support than us. They might sell out Leeds away no problem these days but a few years ago their away support wasn't that impressive at all. Newcastle's is over rated too.
