I'm all for her activism in general, especially in aid of Gaza. But I hate how activism has been turned into a fashion trend these days. People wear a keffiyeh, post themselves wearing it with their best gear on instagram, and have a smug look that would make you think they took out an IDF platoon.

Small bit of housekeeping but it will be important to know. The Irish League is the one in the North that plays winter football, the league of Ireland is the one down south that plays summer ball.
Us LOI snobs get very annoyed about being called the Irish League

Huge night for Irish football. 2 teams in groups

Shels have a fighting chance v Hacken at home. Hopefully Sparta have one eye on weekend derby.
 

Good to see Shels get a draw tonight on their first group game in Europe. Bad night for Rovers, but hopefully they can get back on track next time out to get in the mix for the knockout phase.

Rovers need at least a draw v Celje next. Hard to see anything from AEK away / Shaktar home. Then need two wins to have any hope
 
went to a few Finn Harps games in the summer. had a great time there, form has fell off a cliff since

they’ve got a young lad called Gavin McAteer whos only 17, i think he has a chance of playing at a higher level
 
Having come to a standstill in their last match against Shelbourne, Rovers have another chance to clinch the title at St Pat's this evening. Again a draw would be enough, but hopefully Rovers shake off that lethargic performance and play with style and confidence this time.

Still at a standstill. Doesn't bode well for Thursday against the Slovenians.

Really impotent in front of goal the last two matches.

Still need just one point to clinch the league and final three matches are in Derry, then home to Galway and Sligo.
