I seem to remember Arsenal playing in an historic burgundy kit for their last season at Highbury. We should do similar.

What about an historic badge too for the shirt?

That’s not really the point.

Regardless of date, which wasn’t mentioned, I’d go full on historic on all aspects including winning gear.

Despite what we would like, we all know there will be no special kit and it'll be a template Hummel number with a huge gambling logo slapped across the front of it. What a legacy.

Aren’t we currently scheduled to move into BMD midway through the 24/25 season? So if we did go for a Arsenal style Goodison sign off, would we just revert to a standard kit for the the remaining 10 games?

I reckon they’ll go for some heritage range and botch it horribly.

This is still supposedly the last season, though the date is stealthily creeping backwards. Can see it being 2 more.

Take off all the rendering and banners that bill put up, shotblast the brick work on the outside so it looks like what it did when first built.

Keep the blue towers in the corners but also clean up the clear facades on each side of the main stand.

I think that would be brilliant for the older blues.
