Last Film You Watched

I saw the new Logan film last night and I thought it was brilliant. With the exception of Deadpool it's the best film in the entire X-Men film franchise. It's not faultless and I still prefer the original story it was partly based on (though it's understandable that they couldn't use that story as it was) but still great all the same, 8/10.
Going to see it on monday. Can't wait!

Watched Creed. A straight-forward and formulaic plot, but I enjoyed it. Wish they didn't film the Goodison scenes at night...why not showcase that hallowed landmark rather than obscure it. That female actress (who played Adonis's girlfriend) is quite beautiful!

This was in last night and it was a bit disappointing tbh.
Having read the reviews, I was expecting a half decent horror film.
A demon follows and kills it's chosen target, with the recipient only freeing themslelves by passing the demon on to another by having sex with them.
Kind of like a Demonic chain letter !.
All felt a bit meh, despite the cast doing their best.

I quite liked it myself little bit different

It follows, bit moody like but expected more after all the reviews!

I liked it, thought it was different to recent horror/thriller films.
The sequel is planned apparently, look forward to that.

Plus, it's another film I've liked lately, that's written and directed by the same person (for this it's David Robert Mitchell)

Can't believe I haven't seen this before.

Was on last night on ITV4.

Bruce Willis, doing what he does best, downbeaten, world weary and had enough of life.

Willis plays a washed out cop, who has to take a witness to Police corruption, 16 blocks to court to testify. The bent cops try to take the witness out on the way.

Willis is excellent, but Mos Deff, steals the show as the witness.

Wasnt there a french version of this out 1st,I seem to remember trying to watch it but there was no sub titles

I saw John Wick Chapter 2 for the second time yesterday and it was still brilliant on a second viewing. One of my favourite films to be released in recent years was the first John Wick film and I really didn't think they'd be able to meet the standards that the first film set but the second is almost just as good and set things up nicely for the third. I'll definitely be seeing this again.
