Watching The Ides of March atm. Very good film so far, not usually my type of film as well.

And to del_mar, say that to Sean Bean when he is dressed as Bormir and gets you in your sleep x.

I enjoyed the Ide's of March, Ryan Gosling did well in 2011/2012

Nope not seen drive. Seen a lot of people talking about it. It's in my to watch pile.

Ive got that on my "to watch" list

It's very slow paced with subtle acting and no real action bar at the start and the end... which are the same, kind of.

I'd just say be patient. Bear in mind the fact that the world is about to end when you watch the characters and know that by the end of the film it will be worth it!

It's about the end of the world and how people react to the knowledge of their fate — specifically the already-depressed, who in this film are melancholic.

Just don't expect any nukes, riots or presidents with catch 22 conundrums. It's not that kind of film!

Deservingly so. It's sometimes too slow and a bit long mind, but I think the director wanted a strong sense of foreboding.

Oh and artsy stuff aside, you get to see Kirsten Dunst's glorious baps.
