Not sure if it can be technically classed as a film, as originally a TV 2 part mini series, but just watched Gullivers Travels again (with Ted Danson) as I am reading the book for the first time. Slight change to the basic premise of the book but the narrative is brilliantly done.

Funny Games by Michael Haneke. The original movie, not his US remake.

I really recommend it. It is very intense and it's really hard to watch, but somehow you can't look away.

Finally got around to watching Heat and what a film. Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Val Kilmer are outstanding in it. That shootout near the end was crazy.

Watched Pixels last night. Not a bad hour and a half's light entertainment. Certainly deserves to have done better at the box office than it has apparently done, whatever issues Sandler has had recently.

Finally watched Southpaw and although it was good I found myself stating which storylines were from Rocky. Guess that may happen with all boxing films now.
