It's three quarters great and a quarter... hmmmmmm.

Spielberg puts some nice chase / espionage scenes in and the lead cast are all great. And the whole "reveal of information" bit is terrific, just like I'd visualised it to be in "reality"....

But I felt it faltered badly in the last reel.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind for me, remains so much more exciting, mysterious and awesome.

Close encounters is one of the greatest sci fi films of all time mind..
