Last Film You Watched

The Taking Of Pelham 123 - The Denzel / Travolta remake. Not as good as the original and the 'drop frame' stylistic effects got on my nerves but it's OK. Travolta's edgy character isn't a patch on Mr.Blue in the original.

Adventures In Babysitting - Building a home server so I've been hoovering up 20p DVD's from all over and revisiting 80's VHS rentals of years gone by. Stands up really well and is a little more sweary / risque than the outright kids film I falsely remembered. Apparently the current streaming version on Disney has significant cuts and dubs...."Don't fool with the Babysitter" is not how the line came out originally.

Also manages the movie making miracle of having kid characters who aren't obnoxious that you actually quite like. And a buff pre Full Metal Jacket Vincent D'Onofrio.

Psycho - Had only watched this years ago so had pretty much completely forgot about everything bar the famous shower scene and Norman Bates / Mother. Absolute masterpiece obviously and was great to watch it almost like the first time as it's surprised me how the Marion Crane part is really just the first act.

Completely agree, hence why it won a bucket load of awards and despite it covering a subject that American audiences usually stay clear of, cleaned up at the box office too.
It’s already 12 years old. I just had to double check on google to make sure if it was the film I was thinking of.
