Just been to see The Bride!

I think it is going to be a very marmite film but I really enjoyed it. It’s a bit of a mess admittedly but thought there was a lot to like.

Firstly, let’s get the obvious out of the way, Jessie Buckley is fantastic again. Bale is really good playing a very different version of the monster. The rest of the supporting cast do a good job too, particularly Cruz and Benning. The film looks amazing and the music is really good too. It’s also just good to see a very different take on a story we are all so familiar with.

It is mad though and a bit all over the place so I can definitely see people not liking it or actively hating it.

I'm looking forward to it but heard it is a bit of a mess. But the madness element appeals to me.

Saw Project Hail Mary today. Can’t understand all the great reviews. Passes a couple of hours and Gosling is always watchable but it’s candy floss really. Has about 3 endings as well.

I went to see it as well. Thought the first 30 - 40 mins were fairly slow, but it picked up a little after that. I thought it was decent.
