Well I've not seen this for beards and much as I love 70s sci fi and 70s conspiracy thrillers this has not aged well at all; it's clumsy, scientifically 'adventurous', melodramatic and completely loses its way in the third act. However, there's a smashin idea at the heart of it, and with current technology and in today's conspiratorial fever dream it could stand a remake I reckon.
Kojak is gold as the biplane pilot mind you.
Watched The Joker last night. Terrible, especially in its portrayal of mental health.
Said similar, thought it was miles off. Irony being Bale played 'The Machinist' (2004) about 18 years previous and did a similar job better. Ironic of course because he was Batman in 'Batman begins' in 2005.

….ha, ha, 2 of our grandaughters have gone to see it as I post. Mrs Eggs and I are minding the recent arrival, I’m sure they’ll say it was good when we see them in an hour or so.
…..amazed to report that my 4 & 5 year old grandaughters hated it. They spent the entirety on their Mum’s knee because they didn’t like the Robot. How strange kids can be.
Wow. He was very cute/expressive for a robot I thought. Brought back memories of Wall-E/EVA. And the gosling was adorable.
