A bit of a slow burner, mate... It starts off hectically with pandemonium, and then it kind of dies off in the end, like an anti-climatic wet fart.
I wouldn't recommend it.
Had a late night and enjoyed two Venom movies; they were funnier than I expected.

Watched a few the past couple of days.
Trap - interesting premise but not very good at all and way too much was given away in the trailer.
The Bikeriders - some good performances from the leads but ultimately found it quite boring.
The Crow (2024) - much better than I was expecting although that isn’t saying much. Some great (and very brutal) action. Some very weird story decisions. Not a patch on the original but not the absolute train wreck I was expecting.

Watched The Big Short for the first time last night. Really enjoyed it; very interesting stuff. Appreciated the way they dumbed down certain parts breaking the 4th wall for people like me.
Locked In on Netflix. Anna Friel takes on a scouse accent and goes all Maggie Clarke.
Superman IV: Quest for Peace came on the TV this morning. First time I've seen it and it might be the worst film I've ever seen. Genuinely incredible how bad it is.
Third and final one is out soon, trailer just dropped the other day I think.
From a couple years back but I watched As Bestas (The Beasts) which is I think a French/Spanish movie set in Galicia with some Gallego spoken too.
I thought it was utterly brilliant, and I realised at the end of one scene that my jaw had literally dropped
I couldn’t get it with English subs here on Filmin but was happy I didn’t lose any of it having to follow with Spanish subs
Also watched Calladita, which was a bit more straightforward, but based here in Catalunya and I think really painted an accurate picture of a rich obnoxious Catalan family and the scummy treatment of Latino workers
