This was on Film4 over the weekend - A Vigilante.

Olivia Wilde, is fantastic, as a woman, who’s life has been ruined by domestic violence and the murder of her son, by her brutal ex husband and sets herself up, as a one woman wrecking ball, against the abusive partners of othe abused women.

Incredibly violent and not for the faint hearted, but a very good film, that conveys some important messages too.
There seems to be a couple of film's with similar theme's to that one out there...

I saw this one a while back... Was ok.

we did a Disaster Movie double-header, both really good 8/10's:

Dante's Peak: charming cast, realistic science, excellent FX...and a fantastically heroic scene from
grumpy granny during the acid-lake boat ride.

The Towering Inferno: Steve McQueen was a totally believable stoic Firechief here. Paul Newman and the rest ably doing their bit. Lots of dramatic scenes, high-end production, and like Dante's Peak it all feels quite realistic too. Some horrific deaths, even one which had me
recalling that infamous falling man who jumped out of the World Trade Center.

Our next Disaster Movie double-header is gonna go in the more fantastic direction...2012 & The Day After Tomorrow are likely candidates.
