Saw the South Korean Oldboy last night.

I knew it was supposed to be really shocking and i thought i wouldn't be surprised by it but I certainly was. Great, terryifying film. I loved the quirky cinematography too.

Definitely gonna try and watch more SK cinema, I know many are on my watch list but just haven't got round to them.

Superb watch.

I watched "The Irishman"...another good Scorcese film, but not his best. I did like the historical component of it regarding Hoffa, the Kennedy's and unions.

Bong Joon Ho just won 4 Oscars for Parasite, joint most ever on one night and most ever for the same film. Don't think many people saw that coming even if it has been universally praised. First foreign language film to win Best Picture too.
