How Hailee Steinfeld didn't get an oscar for that I'll never know, she steals the film and out acts the lot of them, she was nominated and I forget who won it that year but I remember thinking she'd been robbed.

1917 just got the BAFTA Best Film, pff very British thing to do. Hopefully the Academy don't follow the suit.

Cant understand people complaining about the story in 1917.

Its a story told down generations to Mendes...

I thought it was great. Possibly could have been better in parts but incredible to be done in one (more like two) shots...

Been having a John Wick marathon today and honestly still, after all these years, can’t get over just how terrible at acting Keanu Reeves is. Like how did he even get these blockbuster roles? A pretty good performance in Bill & Ted back in the day?

Crazy isnt it, like hes purposely being stiff and wooden, even his running looks strange
